July 1, 2011 Dear Friends of Hope's Flame, It is with mixed feelings that announce that I am taking a hiatus from Hope's Flame and therefore will not be making candles in the studio for a while. At this point, I do not know if this will become permanent or not. I am setting Hope's Flame aside only for personal reasons. The business itself was doing great...so much so that it was becoming a full-time job and interfering with the pursuit of other projects I am interested in. Please know that I have loved working on Hope's Flame these past five years, supporting wonderful organizations that contribute to the hope of another, and making beautiful, eco-friendly candles. I have been touched by the stories of customers who have truly embraced the sprit of Hope's Flame and will continue to bask in the glow of your lit candles. Until we connect again, Barb Skoog |
